Man injured in knife attack near Alte Oper
An altercation involving several people took place in a green space next to Frankfurt's Alte Oper at about 2 a.m. on 5 April. Witnesses said that a man stabbed a person lying on the ground with a knife. Police found an 18-year-old man with superficial cuts to his back and shoulder. Two suspects, a minor and a 19-year-old man, were arrested shortly afterward at the main railway station. Officers seized a pocketknife from the minor; both were released after police procedures, and investigations were opened.
