Woman seriously injured with knife in Breuberg
A 48-year-old woman was seriously injured in a knife attack in Breuberg-Hainstadt on 5 April. At around 4 p.m., she was walking on Brunnenstraße with three friends and stopped at the roadside to photograph a flower. A man who had previously cycled past the group then approached her on foot and injured her with a knife, according to police and prosecutors. He stopped only after her companions came to help and fled by bicycle. The woman was flown to a hospital by rescue helicopter. Investigators are treating the case as attempted homicide, and the search for the unidentified suspect continues.
