Man handled knife after attack on ambulance in Frankfurt
On New Year's Eve night, a larger group blocked an ambulance responding to an incident on Fahrgasse in Frankfurt and damaged the vehicle. When a rescue worker got out, a man kicked him in the back, causing him to hit his head on the vehicle and fall. As he got up, the worker said he noticed a man in front of him handling a knife. The worker was examined in hospital, where a back injury requiring further assessment was diagnosed.
