Man injured with broken bottle neck during dispute in Frankfurt

A man was injured during a dispute on Niddastraße in Frankfurt's Bahnhofsviertel district. Police said a 28-year-old first struck his 38-year-old counterpart on the head with a glass bottle at about 09:50 on 24 March, then stabbed toward the man's head with the broken bottle neck. The victim suffered a cut and required hospital treatment. A security employee held the suspect until police arrived; the suspect allegedly also tried to injure the employee with the bottle. Investigators opened proceedings against the 28-year-old, including on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm.
