Man’s hands injured in knife attack at Flensburg gym
A 32-year-old man sustained hand injuries in a knife attack at a gym in the Flensburg Galerie on 27 September. Another 32-year-old man attacked him outside a changing room at around 1:20 p.m.; a threat and assault had occurred inside the changing room beforehand. The injured man disarmed the attacker, who initially fled. Alerted officers arrested him shortly afterwards in the shopping centre despite strong resistance. After police procedures, he was admitted to a psychiatric clinic; investigators have not established the background to the incident.
