Man allegedly threatens restaurant staff with knife in Esslingen
In Oberesslingen, a 23-year-old man allegedly threatened restaurant staff with a knife on Tuesday afternoon. Witnesses called police at about 5 pm. The man initially left the location but returned shortly afterwards and was provisionally arrested. Police said he put up considerable resistance during the arrest. The knife allegedly used earlier was seized from his waistband. Due to his health condition, the man was placed in the psychiatric department of a hospital.
