Two men injured with a stabbing weapon in Essen altercation
Two men were injured with a stabbing weapon during an altercation in Essen-Kray on 15 December. A 34-year-old man suffered serious injuries and was subsequently treated at a hospital in Herne. An unidentified companion of the 34-year-old also injured a 25-year-old man with a stabbing weapon. A 27-year-old suspect was arrested on 2 January and is in pre-trial detention. The circumstances of the altercation remain under investigation.
