Man critically injured after dispute outside Essen kiosk
A 44-year-old man was seriously injured by multiple stab wounds during an altercation outside a kiosk on Ripshorster Straße in Essen. Following witness information, he was found at a nearby home and taken to hospital. Police said he was no longer in immediate danger because of intensive medical treatment. Officers provisionally detained a 41-year-old suspect during the search. Detectives set up a homicide investigation unit that night.
