Knife attack in Eschershausen: suspect held in pre-trial detention
A 62-year-old suspect is in pre-trial detention following an alleged knife attack in Eschershausen. According to the findings so far, he initially addressed a 55-year-old man aggressively on Lönsstraße on 26 October before stabbing him in the head with a knife. The victim was injured and taken to a hospital. The suspect was also medically treated for injuries, provisionally arrested, and remanded after a warrant was issued on urgent suspicion of attempted murder and dangerous bodily harm.
