Man attacks father with scissors in Erkrath
A 23-year-old man allegedly attacked his father with scissors and slightly injured him in their shared flat in Erkrath-Hochdahl on 21 June. According to the father, the man also threatened other family members, who then left the flat with him. Specialist police officers arrested the 23-year-old in the flat without resistance that afternoon. During a search, police seized an axe and a blank-firing pistol, and the man was compulsorily admitted to a psychiatric facility.
