Man accused of critically injuring son with kitchen knife in Enger
According to police and prosecutors, a family dispute occurred in an apartment in Enger. A 51-year-old man is alleged to have first attacked his 51-year-old wife with a kitchen knife and then injured his 18-year-old son with it.
The son received medical treatment, was taken to hospital and underwent emergency surgery for life-threatening injuries. His condition later stabilised and investigators said he was no longer in danger of dying. The suspect was arrested at the scene. He was remanded in custody on allegations of two counts of attempted manslaughter, including dangerous bodily harm in one count.
