18-year-old critically injured in knife stabbing in Enger
An 18-year-old was critically injured by knife stabs during a family dispute in an apartment on Bahnhofstraße in Enger on 30 April. According to the current investigation, a 51-year-old man allegedly first attacked his wife with a kitchen knife and then injured their son with it.
The 18-year-old received treatment at the scene, was taken to hospital and underwent emergency surgery. His condition later stabilised and he is no longer in danger of death. The suspect was arrested at the scene. A judge ordered pre-trial detention on 1 May on allegations of two counts of attempted manslaughter, and the investigation continues.
