Robbery at knifepoint in Emden
Two suspects and another unidentified perpetrator allegedly robbed a man at his home in Emden on 29 July. Police and prosecutors said they tied him up at knifepoint and while displaying a baton, searched the home for cash, and took cash and a mobile phone.
The man was unharmed, freed himself and alerted police through a passer-by. Two suspects were provisionally detained in the city, where police seized cash and drugs from them. Both were remanded in pre-trial detention, while the investigation into the unidentified accomplice continues.
