Man threatened with knife in Emden; suspect remanded in custody
At about 11:40 p.m. on 4 March, a man at Emden's Alter Binnenhafen was allegedly ordered to hand over valuables while a knife was displayed. Police quickly focused their investigation on a 25-year-old suspect. He was arrested, and Emden Local Court issued a warrant on the public prosecutor's application; he is now in pre-trial detention. The investigation remains ongoing.
