Man draws knife during confrontation in Elmshorn
A confrontation occurred at Elmshorn's Christmas market on 20 December, during which a man allegedly drew a knife, police said. Two market visitors had approached him after seeing him follow a woman and a child. The man is said to have taken the knife from his jacket pocket and moved threateningly towards the two men. One of them used animal repellent spray to defend against an anticipated knife attack. Officers found those involved nearby shortly afterwards; police are seeking further witnesses and the woman with the child.
