Man armed with machete threatens police officers in Burladingen
A 55-year-old man triggered a major police operation in the Salmendingen district of Burladingen. Police said he initially told acquaintances that he would harm himself and responding officers, then barricaded himself alone inside a building and continued making threats against officers. Specialist units were called after indications emerged that he was armed with a machete. They took him into custody without resistance at about 21:55, after which he was taken to a specialist clinic.
