Woman allegedly attacked sleeping husband in Einbeck
A 67-year-old woman allegedly attacked her sleeping 73-year-old husband in Einbeck. Police said she first pressed a towel over his mouth and nose and then tried to stab him with a knife. A relative stopped the attack. The man suffered a minor cut wound while defending himself, was treated in hospital and released the same day. Proceedings on suspicion of attempted manslaughter were initiated against the woman, who was admitted to a psychiatric facility.
