Truck driver robbed in Ehrenfriedersdorf
A group of five is suspected of attacking and robbing a 38-year-old truck driver in Ehrenfriedersdorf. The driver had been sleeping in his vehicle at a car park on Annaberger Straße when a man knocked on the window and asked for help. After the driver opened the door, further unknown individuals allegedly arrived, pulled him from the truck and forced him to the ground. He suffered pain, and one of the perpetrators was reportedly holding a knife.
The driver was able to run away and returned to his truck about an hour later. By then, the group had left with a smartwatch, a tablet and cash worth more than 1,000 euros. Police are investigating the robbery.
