Man seriously injured in altercation in Babenhausen
A 27-year-old man was seriously injured during an altercation between two men in Babenhausen. He suffered stab and cut injuries on Darmstädter Straße, received initial medical treatment and was then taken to hospital by ambulance. A requested rescue helicopter was not deployed.
Police were alerted at about 12:30 p.m. and cordoned off a wide area around the scene. Darmstädter Straße remained closed between Ostheimer Weg and Südring because of the police measures. A 36-year-old suspect was arrested, while criminal police continue to investigate the circumstances.
