Woman allegedly threatens passers-by with knife in Durmersheim
On the afternoon of 20 October, a 52-year-old woman allegedly handled a knife and threatened passers-by in the car park of a drugstore in Durmersheim. After police were called, she reportedly first fled into nearby woodland. At about 18:45, she was seen in the Hans-Thoma-Straße area and was then arrested without resistance. Police did not find a knife on her. She was taken to a specialist clinic because she appeared to be in an acute mental health crisis.
