Man seriously injured after altercation outside Duisburg kiosk
A 27-year-old man was seriously injured during an altercation involving several people outside a kiosk on Kammerstraße in Duisburg. Police said knives were reportedly used, although the man was not in life-threatening danger. A 55-year-old kiosk employee described the incident to officers while the injured man was taken to hospital for inpatient treatment. Two men aged 20 and 24 were detained following a search operation and are in pre-trial detention on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm. Suspicion against another 24-year-old who had initially been detained was not substantiated, and he was released.
