Duisburg: Man held in pre-trial detention after injury with pointed object
In Duisburg's Kantpark, a 24-year-old man is alleged to have injured a 28-year-old man in the arm with a pointed object. Before that, the suspect is alleged to have demanded money from the man, struck him and taken his mobile phone. The injury allegedly occurred when the victim later asked for the phone back. An emergency doctor treated the injured man at the scene, and there was no danger to his life. The suspect was arrested, brought before an investigating judge and is in pre-trial detention.
