Attempted knife robbery at Düsseldorf discount store
An unidentified man is alleged to have threatened a cashier with a knife at a grocery discount store on Heerdter Landstraße in Düsseldorf on the evening of 25 August. He shouted a demand for cash, but the employee said she could not open the till and moved to safety at the rear of the shop. The man then fled toward a playground without any proceeds. Police are investigating and seeking witnesses.
