Man arrested after knife threat in Düsseldorf
A 35-year-old man is alleged to have threatened his former partner with a knife and tried to injure her in Düsseldorf on 17 June. Police said the woman fled from Kölner Straße into a medical practice, where the man followed her. She fought off the attack and sustained minor injuries. The man then ran into Sonnenpark with the knife and ignored police orders to drop it. Officers used a conducted-energy device to overpower and arrest him, and seized the knife; he was due to appear before a remand judge.
