Three men injured after knife attack near Düsseldorf Central Station
On 24 May, three men became involved in a physical confrontation at Konrad-Adenauer-Platz near Düsseldorf Central Station. According to the investigation so far, one man asked two others for alcohol and became aggressive after they refused. He used a knife during the ensuing dispute. One man suffered a stab wound and another was slightly injured while fending off the attack; the suspect was also injured. The suspect initially fled but was restrained by security staff and arrested. A 30-year-old injured man was taken to hospital and was not in life-threatening condition.
