Man critically injured in stabbing during dispute in Düsseldorf
A 40-year-old man sustained life-threatening injuries from multiple stab wounds during a dispute on Scheurenstraße in Düsseldorf-Friedrichstadt on the evening of 26 March. Four other men from the group suffered minor injuries after becoming involved. Police and prosecutors are investigating attempted homicide and currently believe the incident followed an escalating dispute in a private setting. A 48-year-old suspect was found near the scene and provisionally detained. Several people were taken to hospital, while police cordoned off the area for forensic work.
