Man draws knife during shoplifting incident in Beeskow
A man allegedly concealed wine and coffee in his clothing at a discount shop on Luchstraße in Beeskow during the late afternoon of 26 March 2025. When a store detective confronted him, the man became physically aggressive and drew a knife, police said. He did not make stabbing motions but used the knife to force his escape.
The man lost a jacket and glasses but evaded capture despite the use of a tracking dog. Initial investigations indicate that he then left in a silver BMW. Criminal police are investigating his identity, while the goods remained in the shop.
