Man injured by stab wounds during dispute in Düren
A 35-year-old man sustained stab wounds inflicted with an object during a dispute between two men in central Düren. Police said the confrontation began at about 16:20 on 12 September near the underpass by Haus der Stadt and later continued at a shopping centre on Gutenbergstraße. The injured man was taken to hospital by ambulance. The 28-year-old suspect was arrested and is in pre-trial detention; criminal police are investigating on suspicion of attempted manslaughter and are seeking photos or video of the incident.
