Minor in pre-trial detention after alleged knife extortion in Dresden
Dresden prosecutors are investigating a minor suspect on suspicion of several violent offences. He is alleged to have displayed a knife to an unidentified person at Strehlener Platz on the night of 24 December 2025, acting with two accomplices, and demanded valuables. The person escaped when a taxi arrived. According to prosecutors, the suspect was arrested on 30 December and remains in pre-trial detention while the investigation continues.
