Man threatens passers-by with knife at Dresden-Neustadt station
Late on 20 October, a 25-year-old man allegedly threatened several passers-by with a knife at Dresden-Neustadt station. Federal police were alerted by shouting outside the station at about 21:15. When officers approached a group, the suspected offender initially ran away but was stopped and arrested shortly afterwards with assistance from DB Security staff. Officers took a knife from him. According to federal police, he had previously threatened, among others, a 49-year-old man; the Dresden state police took over the investigation.
