Man seriously injured in suspected stabbing in Dortmund
Two men were injured in an altercation involving several people in Dortmund's Nordstadt district on 17 April. A 21-year-old sustained a serious but non-life-threatening injury to his back, reportedly from a stabbing. A 26-year-old suffered a head injury. Both men were taken to hospital for treatment.
Police were alerted at about 9 p.m. and encountered a large group near Stollenstraße and Clausthaler Straße. Blood traces led officers to a nearby kiosk, where they found the injured men. Among items seized in the area were a kitchen knife and a folding knife. Following a lead, police believe three suspects may have left in a grey estate car and are seeking witnesses.
