Kiosk operator seriously injured with machete in Dortmund
Two suspects armed with machetes allegedly entered a kiosk in Dortmund late on Friday and attacked its 37-year-old operator without warning. The man suffered serious injuries but, according to police, was not in mortal danger. He was taken to hospital and underwent emergency surgery. Officers located the two suspects nearby shortly afterwards, and they were still carrying the alleged proceeds. Police are also considering a knife-carrying ban.
