Two men injured in knife dispute in Dortmund
A dispute between two men in an apartment in Dortmund during the night of 8 February left both with knife wounds. Police said that a 57-year-old man first injured a 28-year-old man with a knife. The 28-year-old then inflicted a life-threatening stab wound on the 57-year-old and called emergency services. The 57-year-old underwent surgery and both men were taken to hospital. Police secured the knife; initial findings indicated that both men had been under the influence of alcohol. The cause of the dispute was initially unclear and criminal police continued their investigation.
