Man threatens passers-by and police officers with knife in Dormagen
A 49-year-old man allegedly threatened two passers-by and later two police officers with a knife outside a grocery store on Lübecker Straße in Dormagen on 23 January. After insulting the two men, he reportedly caused the blade of a switchblade to spring out only a few steps away from them. When officers spoke to him, he drew a knife again. Officers subdued him, and nobody was injured. The man was taken into custody.
