Two residents treated after stabbing injury in Döbeln

A security employee found a 39-year-old resident unresponsive outside accommodation for asylum seekers in Döbeln on Friday morning. The man was heavily intoxicated and had a superficial stab wound that, according to current findings, may have been inflicted by an unknown person. Emergency services took him to hospital.

Another intoxicated resident was also treated in hospital for injuries. Police are investigating on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm and are examining whether the two men had been involved in a dispute and how the injuries occurred.
