Man dies after knife attack at Darmstadt accommodation
A 68-year-old man died following a dispute at shared accommodation in Darmstadt. Police and prosecutors said he became involved in a serious confrontation with a 28-year-old resident at about 6:40 p.m. on Friday. The 28-year-old is suspected of seriously injuring the visitor with a knife. The injured man left the flat but died outside after resuscitation attempts failed. Officers arrested the suspect at the accommodation and secured the suspected weapon; a decision on presenting him to a remand judge was expected on Saturday.
