Man threatens road users with knife on B216
A 47-year-old man allegedly caused several dangerous traffic situations on the B216 between Lüneburg and Dahlenburg on Saturday. Police said his car repeatedly crossed into oncoming traffic and struck an approaching vehicle near Radenbeck. The damaged vehicle later came to a stop near the junction for Tosterglope.
The man got out and threatened road users with a knife. He then fled to a field, where police stopped him. Police are seeking information about any further dangerous incidents along the route he had travelled earlier.
