Man threatens people with knives in Cottbus
A 35-year-old man allegedly threatened several people with knives in Cottbus on Sunday evening. Police said he had first caused a disturbance and insulted passengers on a tram. After leaving the tram at Stadthalle, he allegedly insulted and threatened further people while waving knives. Officers who were called to the scene used a conducted energy device after issuing a warning in order to restrain him. The man was taken into custody, and nobody was injured.
