Man remanded in custody after knife-related robbery in Cloppenburg
A 47-year-old man is alleged to have punched an 18-year-old several times in the face and tried to kick him in Cloppenburg on 6 April. Police said he was holding a knife during the incident and robbed the young man of his bag and its contents.
The 18-year-old escaped with minor injuries. A witness was also reportedly assaulted. Police located and provisionally arrested the suspect after a search, and pre-trial detention was ordered.
