19-year-old critically injured in knife attack in Cloppenburg
A 19-year-old was critically injured by multiple knife wounds on Thursday evening following a dispute in a car park on Soestenstraße in Cloppenburg. Police said he had met two 19-year-olds there and that at least one of them allegedly pulled a knife and stabbed him during the confrontation. The victim was taken to hospital and underwent emergency surgery. The two suspects initially left the scene but were provisionally detained during the subsequent search. Prosecutors then considered applying for pre-trial detention.
