Man threatens resident with kitchen knife in Chemnitz
A man threatened a 39-year-old with a kitchen knife on 15 September on Zschopauer Straße in Chemnitz's Lutherviertel district. The 39-year-old had approached him outside a residential building after the man had apparently dumped rubbish there. During a subsequent struggle, the 39-year-old suffered a minor hand injury and was treated at the scene by emergency medical personnel. The attacker initially left but was later found in a nearby park; police recovered the suspected weapon and are investigating on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm.
