Machete allegedly used in confrontation in Chemnitz
A physical confrontation involving several men took place outside an apartment building on Gießerstraße in Chemnitz on the evening of 24 May. Four men aged between 20 and 26 had minor injuries. According to the information available so far, two 26-year-old suspects initially argued with a 26-year-old man; a machete was then allegedly used during the physical confrontation. Two men aged 20 and 21 later arrived to help the affected man. The 21-year-old allegedly sprayed irritant gas, causing eye irritation to the two suspects. No machete was found. Police are investigating dangerous bodily harm and the exact circumstances.
