Man injured with knife in Chemnitz
A 63-year-old man was seriously injured in a knife attack on Fürstenstraße in Chemnitz at about 10:20 p.m. on 22 February. Police said two unknown perpetrators allegedly assaulted and injured the man before taking items from his pockets. The suspects initially fled. Following further witness interviews, investigators are also treating the case as suspected aggravated robbery. Criminal police are seeking further young witnesses who saw the incident or can provide information about the perpetrators.
