Two girls injured in pocketknife attack in Berlin-Grünau

Two unknown men allegedly attacked two girls on the evening of 22 February outside Grünau S-Bahn station. According to the current findings, they pulled at the girls' headscarves from behind, tearing one girl's headscarf. During the ensuing scuffle, both girls were allegedly struck in the face. One of the men allegedly drew a pocketknife and caused a superficial cut injury to one girl's arm, while the other reported headaches. The attackers allegedly made xenophobic remarks before fleeing. Emergency personnel treated both injured girls at the scene, and the state security unit is investigating.
