Man threatens petrol station employee with knife in Buxtehude

A masked man allegedly robbed a petrol station on Harburger Straße in Buxtehude late on 1 November. Police said he threatened the 22-year-old employee with a knife, forced him to open the cash registers and took cash.

The employee was uninjured apart from shock. The suspect fled on foot across the petrol station premises, and an immediate search was initially unsuccessful. Police estimate that several hundred euros were taken and are seeking witnesses.
