Man threatens pursuer with knife after shoplifting in Bremerhaven
At a supermarket in Bremerhaven-Geestemünde on Friday evening, a man allegedly put goods into his jacket pockets and did not pay for them at the checkout. When an employee confronted him, the suspect became loud and aggressive, pushed the employee away and fled. A 25-year-old witness pursued him but was threatened with a knife after catching up with him. The man escaped unidentified, and police are investigating suspected aggravated robbery theft.
