Man threatens neighbours with knife in Appenweier
A long-running dispute between two neighbours at accommodation in Appenweier-Urloffen escalated again on Thursday evening. After mutual verbal confrontations, the younger man allegedly went to his apartment and returned with a knife. Police said he then threatened the older neighbour and the neighbour's family from outside the locked door. Several patrols attended at around 9 p.m., de-escalated the dispute and seized a knife from the younger man's apartment. Investigations for threats were opened against both parties.
