Man seriously injured with machete in Bremen
A 34-year-old man was seriously injured during an altercation on the bridge in front of the Gustav-Deetjen tunnel at Bremen station forecourt. Police said another man initially struck him with fists, the handle of a small machete, kicks and a crutch.
The unknown man then allegedly hacked once at the victim's left knee with the machete. The injured man suffered a broken nose and a split kneecap. The suspected attacker fled toward An der Weide, and police said those involved were believed to belong to the drug scene around the main station.
