Man threatens police officers with utility knife in Bremen

A 21-year-old man is alleged to have pulled a utility knife and threatened police officers during a check near Bremen's main railway station on 2 July. According to police, he repeatedly approached the officers near the Old Post Office. A federal police officer then threatened to use his service weapon. The man threw away the knife, was arrested and was provisionally placed in a psychiatric clinic against his will. Nobody was injured.
