Knife attack during extortion in Aue-Bad Schlema
A 59-year-old man allegedly threatened another man of the same age and demanded money in a grocery store in Aue-Bad Schlema on 2 July. Police said he then attacked the man with a knife. A struggle followed, during which the victim's shirt was torn off. The uninjured man was able to flee when a witness arrived, and no money was handed over. Police are investigating and seeking witnesses.
